What is WarriorConnect and its mission?

WarriorConnect is a nonprofit organization founded in 2022. Our mission is to help those overcoming health obstacles feel less alone in their journey, and one of the ways we do this is by sending care packages Another aspect of our mission is to help spread awareness about the various health conditions people live in an attempt to educate others regarding the realities that come with facing a health condition - whether it be acute, chronic, mental or physical.

Who runs WarriorConnect?

WarriorConnect is run completely by volunteers! We are thankful to have a team of dedicated volunteers who create our executive team. The executive team meets weekly to address various aspects of the organization including fundraising, regulatory, finance, community outreach, social media, and more. We also have several volunteers beyond the executive team who help with projects, events, designs, and care package assembly.

Where does WarriorConnect serve?

WarriorConnect is based out of Northern California, however, we have team members and care package recipients all around the world! Many, if not all, of our meetings and events take place online which allows for flexibility with physical location.

How are care packages delivered?

Most of our care packages are delivered via mail, however, if recipients are located near one of our volunteers, we can set up an in-person delivery.

What are some of the ways we help spread awareness regarding health conditions?

We want people living with a health condition to have the opportunity, platform, and resources to be able to share their stories and experiences. We often have people in the community take over our Instagram stories to feature a “day in their lives”. For those wanting assistance in spreading awareness regarding a condition or illness they experience, our team can work with them to create a graphic or educational post to share on social media.
